Chief Operating Officer, Founder
Robin Sutherland is COO and founder of EPOCH, focusing her energies on operations, recruitment and client relationship management. She works with CEOs, COOs, CFOs and other senior executives to help them identify and manage key executive resources for their key management projects and interim executive positions. Prior to cofounding EPOCH, Robin most recently served as Vice President of Recruiting and Staffing Services for Veritude, a Fidelity Investments company. In that capacity, she led and managed the firm’s services to Fidelity and their commercial clients in over 25 locations with over 5000 temporaries daily throughout North America. In addition to her management responsibilities, Robin pioneered two major initiatives for the firm. The first was creating a vendor neutral staffing service program for Columbia University, encompassing their campuses and medical school, requiring the development of a 17-vendor program with extensive qualifying and satisfaction ratings requirements. The second major initiative was the creation of the first outsourced recruitment program for the Caritas Christi healthcare system, the third largest healthcare system in New England, with a 24% increase in hires in the first year of the program.
Before joining Fidelity, Robin served in executive capacities within the recruiting sector with firms including Advantage Human Resourcing, where she was responsible for their new markets and offices, Robert Half International, Supplemental Healthcare and Career Staff Unlimited, where she founded divisions serving teaching hospitals throughout the Northeast, mid-Atlantic states and Dallas, developed product lines and oversaw advertising and branding. Earlier in her career, Robin was an executive with AdvantageHealth, where she oversaw outpatient and physician services across the network and founded the spine division, a network of physician practices, rehabilitation centers and hospital services.
Robin graduated from Tufts University, with additional coursework at Simmons College and is ODI certified in total quality management.
