Linda Stewart

President, CEO, Founder

Linda N. Stewart is CEO, President and founder of EPOCH, a company she formed in 2007 to bring together her financial service expertise and relationships with her understanding of the demographic changes in the marketplace and to introduce a new talent management resource to organizations. EPOCH acts as a broker of independently employed financial service executives who offer their project based consulting services to help companies accelerate the completion of critical business initiatives. By engaging variable cost resources who have completed similar projects in similar organizations globally, companies can drive business results quickly and cost effectively. Different from traditional consultants that focus primarily on strategy, these executives are all about execution.

Linda was an executive vice president with Fidelity Investments, holding senior roles in their core mutual fund and brokerage businesses globally. After helping to successfully build Fidelity’s US mutual fund and brokerage operations, Linda was responsible for building Fidelity’s centralized multilingual and multicultural European operation and customer service center supporting a rapidly growing business in eight countries. Upon returning to the US, Linda led a number of Fidelity’s venture businesses including BostonCoach and National Charitable Services. She served as president of ActionsXchange, a global corporate actions business and acted as chief operating officer of Veritude, a recruiting and staffing company owned by Fidelity.

Before joining Fidelity, Linda was a vice president with The Boston Company, responsible for the coordination and integration of Master Trust customer’s needs with internal operations. Prior to this, Ms. Stewart was a vice president at Boston Financial Data Services where she was responsible for the operations and customer support of several large financial service clients. She also spent two years on the west coast leading the reconciliation and money movements of the books and records of the funds at a subsidiary company. Ms. Stewart had previously worked in New York, where she was a senior financial controls analyst at Time Inc. after having worked as a senior auditor with KPMG for several years.

Linda graduated from The Wharton School of Finance with a degree in finance and accounting. She is a certified public accountant and received Series 7, Series 24, and Series 63 NASD licenses.

Ms. Stewart’s activities within the community encompass non-profit Board and leadership positions including Chairman of the Lyric Stage Theater Company, Founder of the American Red Cross Aids Outreach Speakers Bureau, Director of the Institute of Contemporary Art and most recently, The United Way.
